Emilia-Romagna is known as the food basket of Italy. Stretching from Milan to Rimini, and with beautiful Bologna as its capital, the region is renowned for its culinary expertise.
A week designed to offer a relaxing and special stay “tasting” the best of Italian cuisine and the sweet landscape.

Saturday
Arrival in hotel and check-in. Visit of the hotel grounds and swim before a buffet lunch.
A relaxing afternoon and a early evening excursion to enjoy wine tasting in the Santerno Valley vineyards. Traditional regional supper.

Sunday
After an early breakfast departure for Modena and visit to the Parmesan cheese factory.
Cultural tour of the ancient city centre and back to the hotel.
Superb meal in a restaurant.

Monday
Relaxed guided walk to the Medieval village of Dozza and to the Cookery School in Dozza where the chef and his staff will demonstrate regional dishes, particularly pastas and sauces.

Tuesday
Cooking course and lunch. Visit to Imola’s city centre and music concert. Supper in a traditional Pizza restaurant.

Wednesday
Farm tour (vegetable, herb garden, farm’s history) and lunch. Visit to the Faenza Ceramic Factory and Museum. Visit to Brisighella and dinner in a selected restaurant.

Thursday
Excursion to Bologna, tour of the markets with their range of fresh local produce and guided walk through the medieval city. Back to the hotel for the final cookery demonstration and last-night supper.

Friday
Cooking course and lunch.
Tour of the Three Fortresses.
Dinner in a farm holiday.
