Programme:
This package aims to bring primary and secondary school children closer to the rural world in a both amusing and educational manner. It gives them the chance to know peasants’ habits and traditions by joining cooking courses or collecting fruit and vegetables in the orchards. Pupils and students will also visit botanic parks and gullies to learn the names of plants, herbs and trees. Finally, they will establish a true contact with nature by taking part into the care of the farm animals. The arzdore (local dialect for “housewife”) and a well-trained staff will help children and teenagers to prepare typical plates such as hand-made pasta, meat sauce, jam tarts and cakes based on seasonal produce. They will also learn how to create “theme” menus, decorate plates, set a formal table and comply with the table etiquette. Arts and crafts workshops will focus on the creation of clay and wicker items, puppets and ancient games.

throughout the year, especially in spring and summer.

Prices:
from ITL 199,000 (Euro 102.8) per person
The fee includes: full-board accommodation, well-trained staff, food and wine products and teaching equipment. The fee does not include: guided outings and visits to castles and monuments
